Default Posting images instead of text in selling/pc

Kind of a unimportant question, but it's been chewing away at me. Why do some people post images of what they're selling/price checking instead of just listing them? I understand if you're selling something really rare and want to prove you have it, but that doesn't account for the price check threads. Sometimes there's no text posted either, which means it won't show up in searches (I guess that could be intentional, but I'd like someone to explain why).

This must be answered somewhere, but I haven't found anything from searches.

im guessing its easier to see the skin/mods/insc on the weapon.A picture can say a thousand words but im assuming this is the case

Looking at a picture is more intuitive to me, when judging the weapon, than text. Also I don't know most skins, so I like to be able to see it. But text should accompany it as well.

I think its better to go just a little further, arrange a nice image of the weapons from the game you happen to be selling, It shows how theyre modded, if inscribable, everythig so you don't have to list everything, but can say something simple lik: Runic Blade SB:5K BO:20K with the image there it shows ho its modded, ppl know what theyre getting.

I just think that if I have more than only a couple of things that it's easier to use pictures than type it all out. It also ensures you don't forget any bits of key information like the req and whether it's inscribable or not.

It depends on your typing speed too. If you are a wiz-bang typist, it's easy to type in all that info quickly and accurately. But if you are a hunt-n-peck typist like most of us, it's faster and less error prone to post an image.

What about those of us that do both. In all honesty I find adding pictures and having a semi organized layout makes your thread look better and sell better.
Just my thoughts.
